Up early

Morten writes: "We are eating breakfast on deck. The harbour in Byxelkrok was filled yesterday - when we arrived - so we got to "loan" the ferry docks - on the condition that we move before it returns this morning.



I would like to point out that I got this message this morning at about half past seven! /Juel

Royal visit

"Landed" in Byxelkrok on the northern tip of Øland. A Light breeze forced us to start out for motor - got more wind after lunch and set sail. Sailed past The Swedish royal court (at Borgholm) where H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria celebrated her birthday - we saluted appropriately. Everything well on board - good food is being prepared and relaxing comfortably.

Departed from Kalmar at 10:30am heading for the northern tip of Øland. Using the engine and making small repairs under way. Working on getting pictures home tonight.

Arrived to Kalmar

Arrived well at Kalmar. Waves in the sound - otherwise calm sailing. Sidsel and Nelson waited for us at the docks.

"Departed from Karlskrona at 9 am with course to Kalmar where we will pick up Sidsel and Nelson. Light vind and sun"

Morten writes:

Arrived well to Karlskrona. Have had good vind and sun. Are laying together with two other big boats who are going to Åland as well.

Now we are sailing! Departed from Matvik at 1:30pm and sailing along the coast to Karlskrona where we plan to bee by evening. Weather is sun and light winds.
